This building houses ping pong, shuffleboard, four square, piano, board games and a small library. It is often used by study groups, for camp crafts or for camp talent shows. The camp provides lots of opportunities for fun and recreation. There are 86 acres with several hiking trails, a ball park, sand volleyball court, horse shoe pits, basketball court, tether ball, and a camp fire area. The camp provides bats, balls, gloves, Frisbees, so campers don't have to bring them. A treetop gazebo and lookout ledge provides a unique gathering spots as well as over-look to many of the camps activities. The camp is very secluded, located in several connected mountain valleys. This promotes a feeling of family and togetherness.

Locale - Aspen groves, Douglas firs, lodge pole pines accent local wild flowers such as the Indian paint brush, columbine, hare bell, and showy daisy throughout the camp. Large unusual rock formations dot the camp and the surrounding area. Hundreds of humming birds call the area their summer home. Its not unusual fo-r a black bear and herds of deer or elk to visit the camp throughout the summer. The 400 mile Colorado Trail passes very near the camp and can be reached by a short hike.  Most camps include a hike up a nearby mountain to the last Ranger manned Fire Protection Station Devil's Head, which guards the Pike National Forest. The South Platte river (about 15 minutes away) also provides hiking trails, fishing as well as rafting for the stout hearted willing to brave its chilly waters.

The Church of the Brethren sponsors these camps for your inspiration and enjoyment as part of the Christian Education program of your church. You will have an opportunity to study about God among the things God created and placed on earth for our use and enjoyment. You can learn to know other Christians of your age. There will be time for play, recreation, hiking, music, adventure, worship, study and work. You should attend Camp expecting to learn new things, meet new people, and have reasonably good time.
